Puglia's Tenuta Albrizzi is an unusual and delicious blend, combining Cabernet Sauvignon's deep blackcurrant flavours with the intense spice, herbal and damson notes of Primitivo. No wonder top wine writer Hugh Johnson says the region's reds offer "undreamed-of character and potential". The talent behind the wine and champion of the region is award winning Angelo Maci, whose Cantine Due Palme winery lies at the heart of the superior Salento region of Puglia.
