The Story Behind the Bottle
Chevalier Montrachet is one of the four Grands Crus that have established Puligny Montrachet as an iconic name in Burgundy and a byword for depth, richness, complexity and rarefied drinking. In recent years, Château de Puligny Montrachet has done more than any other property to uphold this tiny commune's stellar reputation. It's owned by Etienne de Montille, who has overseen a return to a more traditional style that values steeliness, elegance and pure fruit flavour above power and strength. Made along very organic lines (the estate's wines will soon all be certified organic), this comes from a very good vintage, with a perfect balance of mineral freshness and elegant stone fruit. The ultimate partner for your finest creamy chicken
